Our August donation drive was focused on school supplies as well as personal care items such as soap, oral care, deodorant, and first aid equipment. Items were couponed mainly from CVS, with a few from Target and Walgreens and the majority were for under $1 each. A very exciting project to work on!
They will be used to support Change Up Sports' various projects which introduce young people to softball and baseball and provide fun, safe, and positive recreational and development opportunities for kids of all skill and experience levels at no cost. Change Up Sports has partnerships with recreation centers, camps, schools, community-based organizations, and fellow non-profits in Philadelphia, Belize, and Sierra Leone.
